Would you bring DC to the office to visit at 10 wks?
I love the people in my office. I am very close with a few of the girls there and everyone has been asking when I am going to bring DS in.
Do you think 10 wks is too early? He had his 2 mo. shots.
I live in Queens and don't drive so I would have to take the LIRR (12 minutes) and then I would probably walk to my office which is on 47th and Park rather than take the subway.
My other alternative is the express bus, but depending on traffic, which would drop me off 2 blocks from work, but the ride, depending on traffic would be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and I'm afraid of being stuck on a bus that long if he starts crying.
Am I being crazy to even consider it?

Re: Would you bring DC to the office to visit at 10 wks?
i took my son to my office at 3 weeks. It was summertime and I was going stir crazy. I know people def. thought I was crazy. And part of me knows I was which is why I needed to get the heck out of the house
At 10 weeks I don't see a problem. We're not in cold and flu season anymore so I see it as less risky. Plus, he does have his shots. If you can deal with lugging an infant on the train to the city I say go for it.
ETA - i later turned into a germaphobe when he was in daycare and probably wouldn't do it if it were November through March.

No, not inside a building. Everybody was always sick all the time in my old job. They never cleaned the vents in offices.

I would, but then again I brought DD in at five weeks old while I worked for a few hours a few days a week for a month because they needed help. She was in my office though, not really being passed around. I would just make sure everyone washes their hands.

I brought DD to my office when she was 6 weeks old and someone told me I was crazy because of all the sick people... but all the sick people were out of the office. I also drove so that makes a big difference IMO. I don't know if I would take DD on the train.

I did. I brought DS in probably right at 10 weeks! It was nice for everyone to see the little person who they had seen growing in my belly for so long.
If you are up to it, I say go for it!
