Wanted to introduce you guys to our new "little" guy.... *ETA More Photos 11/13*
His name is Hank and he's a 3 month old Bull Mastiff. He's just about the cutest thing EVER!!!
His parents were both 140lbs so he's gonna be a BIG boy! We've had him for about a month now. We're working on potty training with him, and that's slow going... but we'll get there. Any advice you'd like to add would be great.
He is weirdly obsessed with my husband's sneakers. We've found him sleeping like this a few times now. haha
(Don't mind all the dead grass on the floor. Not easy to keep the floors swept these days.)

I'm bored so I figured I'd update with some pictures of Hank....
He's 6 months old now! OMG what a handful this guy is. He finally seems to be potty trained and is starting to lay off of eating all our kid's toys... so we're grateful for that. He's a sweet boy but VERY dopey and mischievous. He's due to go back to the vet soon, but we're guessing he's around 60lbs now (not even half-way to his full weight yet!).

This was just a couple of days ago. He has a little burn mark on his chin from trying to eat the hot coals from the fireplace. Dope.

Gorgeous!!!!
What worked with our dog was treats. she only got treats when she went outside. in the beginning we would take her out a few times in the middle of the night so she wouldn't have an accident.

WOW! What a cutie. His paws are MASSIVE. I love it!
As far as training, we crate trained our dog. Now that she's older, she doesn't need to stay in the crate anymore, but she loves it so much that we keep it for her.

This is funny because poop duty used to be my job when all we had was our Scottish Terrier. When DH presented me with the idea of this pup I told him he would have to take over poop duties... and he agreed!
We're crate training too. The most frustrating part about the potty training is we'll let him out and he'll go, and then 5 minutes later he'll pee in the house!! 
We give him treats when he does go outside, and he makes it through the night 8 hours... so I guess it's just a waiting game now.

Bull Mastiffs are my absolute favorites!!!
We do not have a home or a lifestyle for a dog that size. I will have to live vicariously through you!!!
