Wanted to share a small little DIY project
I saw these "antique book bundles" in the Ballard catalogue and was set to buy them at $18 to $25 dependent on size. I just liked the look and wasn't sure where I would put them. I was in a store by me that just had all these paperbacks with the covers ripped off just to help add decor to the furniture set ups and it gave me the idea to make these myself.
I sent DH to The Strand to get paperbacks-- at 48¢ to $1 a piece, got a roll of jute twine at the craft store, ripped the covers off and viola! I think they cam out great, and for a fraction of the price.
