Warning...got a scam Citibank email last night
Just a PSA...got a scam Citibank email last night stating I updated my email address and if I did not to click on the links and verify...etc...but I don't even have a Citibank account.
Just keep your eyes open, esp if you have a citibank account, do not click on the links!!

I always check the properties of links before I click them...
Good habit to get into.

when you get a link you can right click and see the properties and it will show you where the address is taking you.
most phishing scams like this, will have a weird & long complicated web address with numbers and letters that look NOTHING like the original site's address. i.e. -- instead of it taking you to https://www.citibank.com/secure=login or something it would take you to http://3.fadjj3.dlj3.com" or something like that.
Or you can take your mouse and put it over the link--and sometimes the link location will show in your lower left hand of your browser screen or a small bubble show above it with the link location
The address to the link is usually a DEAD giveaway

if you do have citi bank also you would also have a message in your message box on your citi bank account
I get tons of these from paypal, BOA, chase and I never click on them
