Was anyone affected by the hacking into Marshall's and TJ Maxx computers??

My bank notified me that my visa check card and atm cards are basically being locked for 15 - 20 days (which stinks, because I use them all the time) because a "store" (they don't specifically tell you what store in the letter, but it was all over the news) had their computers hacked into. They say I will in the next 10 -15 days be getting a new card, with new number and a new pin, which stinks as well, because it took forever to memorize the first one.

I shopped at Marshall's at Christmas time, so I am guessing thats who it is.

Such a pain in the butt!!!

Anyone else affected??

UGH are you SERIOUS???????! my bank has not notified me yet. I used my debit card at Marshall's right before Christmas

If I am reading this letter correctly, it is just VISA, customers with an issue, so if ya didn't use Visa, I think your ok!

I use Visa & I have not been contacted yet. I hope not I do not carry cash & I have our paychecks DD into our account

The line at TFCU was insane this weekend! I'm so glad that I haven't shopped at those stores in recent months!

Yes, they canceled my visa debit card and I didn't know until I had no gas and went to go use it They issued one by mail and said it would get to me within two weeks. TWO WEEKS?! I went into my bank to get a new card made on the spot, and was told that I wouldn't be able to get one made because they already sent me one. What a pain in the rear because I got the letter like two hours before.

I've only used AMEX there and I think I'm ok.

Yeah, mine too---TFCU sent me a letter saying the same thing. Which is a real PIA cuz I use my debit card for everything.

We got a letter on Friday from NEFCU! I was the only one that shopped at one of those stores during the holiday! I am not looking foward to remebering the new PIN! I will have to get my butt over to the CU to make my own!!!

My credit union called me and are reissuing me a new credit card. Aside from that i am good

I havent heard anything yet - Danielle and I went shopping at Marshalls right before christmas too. I hope that our cards are ok.
