Was anyone dizzy at the end of their pregnancy?
Last night I had about 4 hours of vertigo, felt like I was on a ship..it was awful. I would close my eyes to sleep and the room was spinning. It finally went away..I chugged a ton of water and seemed to help.
Now today again I'm dizzy. Not as bad as last night, but definitely not normal.
I know it CAN be a sign of preeclampsia but I wasn't preeclamptic w/Johnny and I don't have any other signs (no swelling or headaches).
Just wondering if others have gone through this? Im 39 weeks tomorrow. TIA!

Re: Was anyone dizzy at the end of their pregnancy?
I am 32 wks pregnant and was experiencing dizzy spells last week. I spoke to my Dr and had my blood pressure checked along with my glucose (everything was normal). He asked me several questions and based on what I was experiencing my Dr said it may be a case of Vertigo or head cold/allergies and not pregnancy related.
If it gets worse can you make and appt just to be safe?

Re: Was anyone dizzy at the end of their pregnancy?
I remember being dizzy on and off during the last month or two. I remember attributing it to being exhausted (because I couldn't sleep at night) but the doc checked my BP and it was fine.
I hope this baby comes out SOON!!

Re: Was anyone dizzy at the end of their pregnancy?
I had positional vertigo that lasted my whole pg and is JUST going away now at 8 mths pp. It was terrible. When I would lay down I would be so dizzy and if DH even tried to move in bed, it would make me want to scream.

Re: Was anyone dizzy at the end of their pregnancy?
having spent both of prenancies dizzy, i can sympathize. mine was worst in the beginning though, 1st 4 months of each, with lesser dizzyness all the way to the end and several weeks pp.
saw neurologists, oB, etc... nothing ever came back to signify why i would be dizzy. it was blamed on hormones, as i have had problems with dizzyness before, but nothing this severe or lasting this long.
i spent 8.5 months on disability with my 1st pregnancy because of it.

YES! i was dizzy from about 38 weeks on. it would come and go. some days, i just wanted to lay down, other times, it wasn't there at all. at my 39 week appt. i mentioned it to the doctor. He said it was completely normal and was a sign that labor is near.
