Hi I hope you are doing well.

My daughter was born at 33.5 weeks and she is fine. She was born at 4 pounds. They kept her in the NICU for about 10 days, to make sure she was breathing okay. The only thing that took her a while to do was walk, she walked at 18 months.

Today she is 4 and is the tallest girl in her nursery school class. And she talk talks talks talks talks.............

You are a great mom. You and your baby will be okay. I will be praying for you and your family.

So sorry to hear of your situation. Gosh, you must be dealing with so much. I sure hope you and baby are okay in the end. I had my DS at 37 weeks and he was fine, just a little jaundice afterwards. You just need to pray and have the support of your family to help you get through this time. You will be in my thoughts. Please keep us posted. All the best to you both

I am so sorry you are having to deal with this!!!
You are SOOO NOT selfish for taking the baby early. As people have said, a lot of babies are born early and they are totally fine. My brother's little girl was supposed to be born in late June, but she came early May. She was soo tiny - 2.5 lbs - but she just turned 3 this month and is perfect. They had issues with acid reflux with her when she was born, but that seems to be very common with lots of babies now for some reason.
My SIL had streoids b/f my neice came to help her lungs develop and she was able to breathe on her own after she was born. She had to be in NICU for a little over a month, but as I said, she is fine now.
So, you need to take care of yourself, so you can take care of your little boy!!

I am so sorry you are going through this. You are not being selfish, you are giving your son a healthy mom which is THE BEST gift you can ever give him!

My DD was born via c-section at 38.5 weeks and she was fine.

Sorry you are going through this. I cant imagine the pain you are in and you must be so strong to be dealing with all this at the same time.
My SIL had my nephew at 34 weeks and he was 5 something and had no complications except a deviated septum which the doctor said could have happened later on too. He now has a flat head but I dont think that was because of his early delivery, I think she had him in his bouncy seat and car seat too much.
