Was your DC scared of the toliet when you tried to potty train?

So I bought the Dora seat cushion (he picked it out) and he is scared of the toliet. I do put him on but he doesn't relax at all. Then I put DD on and she just hangs out and has actually did pee and poo on their ( I have a feeling she will trained before him ) and he doesn't want to try it. He just praises her like I did and he always wants her on the potty not him. I am guessing he isn't ready at 26 months but how do I go about making him comfortable around it. She I go and buy a floor potty?

Brendan was less scared when I let him sit on it with his clothes on.

We have the Elmo potty where it can go on the floor or you can take the seat off and put it on the toilet. I think he got used to sitting on it when it was on the floor. Now he likes to sit on the toilet, but he still hasn't done anything yet.
