Was your dessert bar displayed the entire party?
Did people touch it or grab anything? I'm afraid to leave it out, i could use the space for dinner buffet, but I love the look of it. What did you do?

Same. I actually had some kids push past the caterers and grab hold of the cake as we had it displayed on the table. It was only seconds before we sang "Happy Birthday". You never know who will come along and grab at stuff.
I also know if people see dessert out, they might eat it before it's time.... I say hold off.

Ok good idea! I'll wait. There are definitely some anxious kids and I have this beautiful display in my head, I would hate for the presentation to look as good as I think it should lol.

I planned on leaving mine out. Never thought about people touching...hmmm. I think it would take to long for me to set up during the party though. I'll have to think of some way of hiding it.
