washing bassinet parts=do I wash the top part?
I just washed the rest of the bassinet linens and was about to wash the top part...the part that can fold back and forth over the top..but noticed one whole section of it is metal and so are the ends...should I avoid washing this part...will it rust..is it even necessary? Help me out girls...its the last thing I have to do and now I'm not sure if washing it will ruin it...and the metal part doesn't come out...its the cuddle n care bassinet...TIA!!

I wouldn't (and didn't) -- it doesn't come into contact with the baby at all AND you might not be able to get it back on correctly and/or rusting!
And I confess I washed the mattress pad and bassinette sheets, but not the actual cloth on the bassinette WHOOPSIE!!!

I wouldn't go crazy over it. It's not even a part that will touch the baby's skin, correct?
