Re: Water Broke!!!
Don't panic Call your doc Clean up, take a shower, go to hospital. At least that's my plan :)
You could always get one of those mattress savers and put it under your sheets of the bed so you don't have to worry.
It won't come out like a water fall unless baby is breech

Re: Water Broke!!!
i would clean it up before you leaving the house.
mine broke in my bed but it only made my underware and shorts wet. there wasn't even a drip on my sheets.
some people have a lot of time between their water breaking and going in to labor.

Re: Water Broke!!!
Ok, you almost gave me a heart attack bc I know you're a Sept. mommy and your water is NOT supposed to break YET!
With that said, I agree with the above poster.

Re: Water Broke!!!
If the you are in the small percentage that it happens to.. You should have plenty of time to call your doctor (and clean it up)!

Re: Water Broke ???
Make DH clean it up! It'll probably be the last thing he cleans up for years.

I agree. It doesn't happen often.
You're going to be inthe hosptial for 2-4 days. I'd want it cleaned up.

Re: Water Broke ???
I'd clean it up...I also started sleeping on the "ultimate crib sheet" a few weeks ago, just in case.

Re: Water Broke ???
for most of women it is not that huge gush that everyone expects... I lost my water little by little, I would say small gushes at a time... I still took a shower, put my make-up on, finished packing for the hospital etc. since I didnt have strong contractions... no need to panic

Re: Water Broke ???
When my water broke with the twins I was leaving puddles all over the hard wood floors...I called the doctor and vaguely remember throwing a towel down on the floor and moving it around with my feet trying to mop up the water...Should my water break now...with me being a lot farther away from the hospital. And Im alreay afraid that Im not going to make it..Id probably just leave it for my DH to take care of when he gets home...
