water sono
Hi ladies,
Still waiting on AF to come but just got a call from the doctor. I had an HSG done about three weeks ago and everything was normal. No blockages on either tube. Why do they want to do a water sono??
How is a water sono?? Any pain?
TIA!

Re: water sono
is this the as a hysteroscopy? i had that done. they need to see if your uterus is ok. normal size, shape, etc. any polyps or scar tissue. they probably wouldnt see that on the HSG
its quick..like a pap smear.

You need a full bladder right? I'm sure that's not comfortable lol

Re: water sono
I didn't need a full bladder for the water sono. It took 2 minutes and was literally over before I knew he had started. It's nothing!

If they are doing the mock transfer with the water sono which is what my RE did, than yes you need a full bladder, it's not terrible the water sono is over before you know it and it's not painful... Get used to the full bladder because you'll need it for the day of the transfer! Ugh..

Re: water sono
The water sono was a breeze! My HSG was painful as a mutha... so I was so relieved.
