Water sono... lets hear your experiences
Ok ladies its tomorrow... what should I expect? Should I do anything ahead of time to prepare myself?
And sooooo IVF officially begins for us this week!!!

i had mine last week! it really wasn't bad at all! my doctor wasnt there so i had to have another doctor do it and she made it worse bc she didnt tell me what she was doing or what i should expect.
essentially, they put the speculum in and flood your uterus with saline solution. i felt a slight cramping feeling in my belly - almost like AF cramps. then she did a quick internal sono and that was it!
it literally took about 2 minutes!!

thanks!!! Im supposed to start stimming Friday!!!! but  of the needle part! i know its a small price to pay though!

Trust me...I was the biggest baby ever about needles. I used to scream and pass out---how embarrassing!
With the exception of the trigger shot, all of the needles that I had to use were just like the Ovidrel shot (and I did them right in the belly). (I was taking gonal-f, ganirelex and menopur.) They didn't hurt at all. If I can do it, u can too!

Update: So it really wasnt THAT bad... just a little cramping during and after like period pains... and a little spotting...
They DID however find 3 polyps in my uterus and I have to go in for a hysteroscopy (cleaning) next week... Ive had this procedure done before... not fun but id rather it be removed anyway....

Bring a maxipad with you to put on afterwards. You may leak a little water when you're done.
