I'm having one tomorrow too. My nurse told me it's not like the dye test at all. It's uncomfortable, but not like the HSG.

no.. its not like the HSG..
i had no problems with the water sono.. it was quick and easy... i even felt fine afterwards..

It's nothing like the HSG don't worry! Much easier! It's more like an IUI (not sure if u had one of those yet, but they're pretty pain-free). I was nervous too, but it's quick!

Ok - phew - the IUI comparison was helpful, I've had 3 of those and they are quick and painless. I think I'm nervous because its marks the beginning of my IVF journey. Ahh...

The water sono was easy. It was quick and didn't hurt at all. The IUI comparison is a good one - just a little discomfort maybe, but no pain.
Bring a maxipad with you for afterwards because you might leak a little. It felt as if I peed myself a little while later. Not to worry, there wasn't that much water, but you will want the pad just in case.

I agree. It's uncomfortable but not like the HSG...although my HSG was not that bad it was more uncomfortable than the water sono. Good Luck
