We are almost done with out Basement Remodel!
I want to share some pictures but I usually have trouble doing it from home.... Hopefully this will work, if not I will post the before & after's when i get to work on Tuesday. We still need to get sconces for above the fireplace, put hardware on the cabinets and put furniture in there...

Beautiful.
Now I'm  to post mine. We just did ours very plain because it will be a playroom/music studio.
Very nice full size window and mouldings.

Thank you all soooo much!!!! We still need to put the finishing touches on it, and get furniture in there. We werent even going to do it now, but there was a little bit of a mold issue (you can see it in the before picture in the corner) so we wanted to make sure that there wasnt a ton of mold hiding behind the walls.....

Post yours too! I am sure it looks great!
The full window is actually a "well window". It lets in so much light and really does make it feel like less of a basement. Our house is very old - I think that's why there is a well window and a fireplace. I dont think that you see either of those in a basement very often anymore!

That is a dehumidifier. There is an unfinished side of the basement on the other side of the wall, so we are trying to hook the dehumidifier up to a pump that will drain into a sink on that side, that way we can just leave it running and never have to think about having to empty it.

We used a family friend for the rennovations. We aren't that handy! I measured for, and ordered the counter tops and cabinets from home depot myself.....

That's what we did when we renovated the basement to our last house. Gorgeous renovation - I love it!
