We are finally home and hopefully for good this time
I am soooo happy to be home!!! I was at the hospital by myself almost the entire time and was going stir crazy in a 2 x 2 room for 6 days!!!
Hannah is doing a little better. She still hasn't gained any weight back and isn't eating or drinking much, but her disposition is much better. She even has a little color in her face.
She is trying to walk (its so sad to see her struggle ), she is playing and even gives me some smiles and laughs. She was soooo happy to come home and see her kitty Charly. I think we are finally on the road to recovery.
Thank you all again for your prayers and hugs. It really meant alot to me
Some lessons I learned the hard way:
1) The first time we went to the ER the nurse tried to draw blood and put in the IV in 5 different sites before calling in someone from the IV team. Besides torturing a baby, it caused major problems when we needed to be readmitted. (All I will say is Thank GOD for NICU and neonatal surgeons!!)
Anyway what the IV specialist told me and I will never forget is only allow an ER nurse 1 try to draw blood or set up an IV. After that, demand they call in someone from the IV team.
Know that you can refuse treatment or treatment from the person treating you if you aren't comfortable.
Know that if you don't feel comfortable being discharged, challenge it. I wish I did on Sunday when I knew she was still too sick and weak to come home.
If I knew this before hand, I could have saved my daughter HOURS of pain!!
2) Less important but wish I did - bring overnight diapers. My poor DD woke up full of urine every morning and could only take a sponge or wipey bath. She was stinky 
OK that's all I can think of right now. I just can't wait for her to be back to her old self!!

Just wanted to say she is doing SOOOOO much better tonight. Around dinner time she just changed - started eating, drinking, walking, playing, laughing, etc.
She's coming baaaaaack!!!

Oh thank goodness you guys are home!!
I have been thinking of you both non-stop! I can imagine how hard this has been on the both of you. Hopefully now, she is on the road to feeling much better and you can get some much needed rest as well! Please keep us updated!!!
