We bought Jack a little baby brother doll today
For anyone who has met my son, he is absolutely nuts over babies. He is obsessed with Tyler and any other little one that he meets.
DH mentioned that maybe we should get him his own baby. At first I wasn't too keen on the idea of him having a doll, but figured WTH, I'll put it in his Easter basket and he'll flip.
Today we went to TRU and the second I passed the baby aisle he was yelling "Babies" over and over. We ended up getting him this cute little Baby Brother doll that he named Tyler (original right  )
The best part about it though is that he treats it like a real baby. He burps him. He sets him up in the exercauser (and actually looks down to make sure his little feet are in the slots  ) Tickles him. All of the things he sees me do with Tyler.
I just think it's the absolute cutest things I ever saw and I'm happy that I didn't listen to my stupid doubts about getting him one.
I also think it's pretty amazing that they really do mimic and pick up what they learn at such a young age.

That's really cute! I think it's great for boys to learn how to care for babies! And I'm glad toy makers have come around with boy babies and non pink strollers/shopping carts. My nephews had "babies", be they a boy cabbage patch or mickey mouse doll that they did just what mommy did.
My one nephew (now 15), at around 4, one day held his Mickey Mouse to his chest and made sucking noises after my sister had DS#2! She asked what he was doing and simply replied, feeding my baby!

I think you mean Jack not Tyler but I absolutely agree. I always say to him that he's going to make a great daddy!

That is too cute.
D has a bin of dolls and she looks like octomom with them all set up and in her various bouncy, high chairs, strollers, baby mats and pack-n-plays. If she ever has multiplies I think she will be fine

That is so cute! Jacob does the same thing with one of his stuffed animals. He puts it in DD's carseat, the highchair and even rocks it to sleep...its so cute to watch

Jack is such a wonderful big brother!
I love that he named his baby Tyler...I named my babies Gregory (after my brother when I was little) and look...
Which doll did you get him? Maybe I'll get one for Lucas.

He looks similar to this guy, but ours has baby blue on.

same with miki I found clifford teh big red dog in kj's exersaucer yesterday (and she too makes sure that his legs are through the holes in the exersaucer)

So cute! Ryan treats his favorite stuffed animal like a baby sometimes. He puts him down for naps, changes his diaper, and gives him bottles.

that kid is either going to give the Duggars a run for their money when he gets married OR is going to be an awesome pediatrician/school teacher.
seeing him jump and count and kiss all the babies was just
he NEEDED his own to love.

Aww...Jack is so cute!!
Rylan used to always play with one at my friends house so i bought him a little baby boy doll for Christmas. The kid hasn't touched it once...lol.
