We Closed Yesterday--We Now Own a Home!
We closed on our house yesterday!!!
Everything went smoothly, and there were no problems at the closing, we just had to sign yards of paperwork.
So we now own a home!!! When we went back to the house yesterday afternoon, we found the owners had left a bottle of champagne for us, very nice. The only snafu was that we lost power in the house due to all the storms in the area.
I'm attaching a pic of the living room and the front of the house, though we will take some more pictures this weekend.
Many thanks for all the advice, suggestions, and help you have offered along the way.

lol we didnt get crap either
I gave a bottle of wine to the people we bought our house from and they got us nothing, and the realtor got us nothing as well. I was so mad that i wanted to take back my bottle and hit them on the head with it.

Thank you! I can't take credit for the living room decor, this is a photo the previous owner's REA took, but I don't have any of our own yet.
The house is in Port Washington. We love it!!!
