We felt our first external kicks last night -9 of them!
Last night, 21 weeks and 2 days, I called DH to feel the baby's kicks! There were 9 of them in a half hour, on my left side. It was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. We were in shock, they were so strong! What a nice sign of the life growing inside of me.

It is so exciting, I can't wait for it to happen to you too!
I laid down to go to sleep and felt it hard! So I put my hand over the spot and it rose when kicked! I called DH, who ran up and felt it as well. I could literally count them. They were strong.
It really is an amazing feeling!!! I love it! How reassuring!

DH has felt her a couple of times, but it's still tough--I have to tell him when she's kicking because he can also feel my pulse down that low.
Do you find that the baby goes nuts when you lay flat on your back? Unfortunately that's the only way I can sleep, and I don't think DD-to-be likes it very much

For us, the kick was so strong. If I was looking, I am sure we could have seen my belly rise. It def didn't just feel like a pulse, it was HARD and my hand literally rose.
I don't notice any difference on back vs front in how DD acts. I just find that sometimes when I finally lay down or rest, I feel the movement most. I love it!!!! I thought it would feel weird or abnormal, but it feels so natural!

How exciting! Every time I put my hand on my stomach to try to feel the movements from the outside,  stops. I can't wait for DH to be able to feel kicks.
