We finally closed!!!
DH and I are so overwhelmed but so excited at the same time - we were supposed to close back in mid to end of April and it kept getting bumped back! We closed yesterday and have so much to do and I can't even help much! There is a stork two doors down from the house so someone just had a baby boy and the area is a lot of families with young children!
The downstairs floors need to be refinished (all hardwood) and the entire 1st floor repainted before we can move in! Since I am basically on bedrest I can't be of any real help other than making phone calls and lists etc. I am so worried now that the doctor said at the last visit she hopes I make it to 36 weeks (I'm 32 w 3 days). I hope we can get it all done - I am so excited that the we can now actually work on the nursery. There are so many things that need to be done and I feel horrible that DH and my family will have to do it without my help.

We are still in the midst of finishing the construction on my parents house so DH, the baby and I have been upstairs, but we will be moving in within the next few weeks and as hard as it will be to do everything while being pregnant, its just as bad trying to do it with a newborn...never enough time or energy

See that is what I am afraid of so I would like to get it done before she comes home - somethings we can put off but we do need to paint and do the floors before we move in b.c of the smell.
