DH's Grandmother fell out of her bed and broke her hip. She is in a wheel chair to begin with so she is not mobile. Now this! Because she is on comidin (sp?), they can't do the surgery yet (something aboutt he blood thinners doesn't react with anethesia very well). She told my MIL that she had a dream the other night that we named the baby after her. As many of you know, in the Jewish religion, you only name babies after people that have passed.
Thank you all. We just spoke with DH's aunt and the doctor down there doesn't think she is healthy enough to do the surgery. She is trying to get another optionion and will hopefully be able to fly Grandma up to NY to go to the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Thank you all again. I just called the hospital to speak with her. She has decided not to have the surgery. She is in OK spirits and is just waiting for another doctor to look at her.
