We got some testing done- finally have a starting point.
Blood test on CD27 last month showed that i did not ovulate (that was a 34 day cycle).
I had CD3 testing this month and they said everything was normal (i didn't get the numbers or what they tested).
DH had his SA 2 weeks ago and the results were: Volume- 7.1 ml Concentration- 47 million Motility- 47.9 Morphology- 6%
Although the motility and morphology were on the lower end, Dr. B wasn't really concerned (since the concentration was high), but that we would be good candidates for for IUI, if we chose that route.
So, now the next step is to set up an HSG after AF comes. Dr. B also said that we can start clomid this coming cycle (same as the HSG), so I was happy to hear that (I just want to start already). I want to try at least a couple of cycles with clomid before moving on to IUIs. I don't want to waste time, but i also want to try to take the less invasive steps before moving onto the bigger ones.
That's where we are now. I don't know why i'm not ovulating, but maybe that will be answered with the HSG? Either way, i feel happier now that we have some information to work with and a plan of sorts.

It feels good to have a plan! IUI isn't really invasive..it's fairly simple and doesn't really hurt..

Good news on moving forward! The HSG just gives them a better picture of your tubes and uterus. It won't give you any information about why you aren't ovulating. The clomid should help with the anovulation.
As far as IUIs go, you are just doing clomid and no IUI? My first cycle on clomid, we went right to IUI. If you have the chance, why not do that instead of just clomid?
Good luck!
