Thanks everyone! We kept it simple, food, drinks, deck, lake = FUN for all!
We had sidewalk chalk, the kiddie pool and a blow up limbo stick for the kids. They all had a blast!
It was a smaller party then last year, but we wanted it that way. We had the food catered (it was actually cheaper than if I cooked everything) and everyone told me the food was great!
I love sharing our home with our friends and family...one of the BIG reasons we purchased this house is the lake and that we want everyone to enjoy it as much as we do. The sounds of our friends kids and my Gracie laughing, splashing, giggling, playing "pirates" and "princess", doing the limbo (and them jumping over the limbo stick) was awesome to watch. I am just so thankful that I am alive and able to see/ hear all of it, KWIM? Life is good. I am also thankful that the weather held up, but even if it rained, I know my DH would have been in the lake regardless...yes he IS THAT crazy. 
We had chalk all over my deck, water on my hardwood floors, and towels everywhere...BUT we did not care, it was what made our party fun.
I know if our house is messy after a party, that everyone had a blast! I would not have it any other way.
