We had our baby boy! (with pictures)
So I finally have a minute to introduce our little man.
Thomas Joseph (TJ) was born on Sunday August 1st at 7:17 p.m.
7 pounds 15 ounces, 22 inches long
I woke up Sunday morning with contractions and started to time them right away because they were rather painful. It only took about an hour for them to become 5 minutes apart, so I showered and called my Dr. who said to come down to get checked.
We got to the hospital by 10:30 and I was already 3 centimeters dilated and 90 %effaced. I ended up getting an epidural (after 2 unsuccessful tries of them getting it in). I quickly progressed and by 5 I was pushing. i pushed for 2 hours, but TJ wasnt coming, so I ended up with a section. The recovery has been a little painful, but so worth it.

Congratulations!! He is gorgeous!! Hang in there...recovery from a c/s gets better...wear the belly band from the hospital..it saved me and I was able to move around..even wore it to bed! Plus I think it helped me lose the belly!! Good luck!!
