We had our Level 2 yesterday! SMDL don't come in if you want to be surprised...
So we went yesterday afternoon for our 1st level 2 (my OB does another follow up at 22 weeks). I brought DH and DD came with us. She was hysterical she had both the tech and Doctor laughing away! The tech asked if she understood that I had a baby in my belly and she turned to the sono screen (they had put gel on but not scanned me yet) and points at it and yells BABY BABY!! Anyway I think she had a lot of fun. When the tech showed us the hands she waved and said "HI baby!" They even gave DD her own sono photo of the baby which she ran around the waiting room before I saw my OB and showed everyone saying "my baby!" They gave us 25 sono photos! Both regular ones and from the 4D scan that they do standard as part of the sono. They did find one minor issue with a density in the heart - but they say that it is not an issue b.c my risk is very low and there were no other markers. The stomach measured perfectly and so did everything else so they say the baby is healthy and VERY active - it wouldn't stop moving, waving and flipping around.
So.... DD is having a baby....
 SISTER!!

Thank you!!! I'm SOOOO excited - while it would be nice to have a boy and a girl I'm SOOO excited DD will have a sister - I was an only child and LONGED to have a sister. So I couldn't be happier that it is another girl!! Plus I have so much fun dressing DD - having two to dress is just twice the fun!
