We had our new doors installed today (pics)
This is our front door and back door. We had the screen doors and the regular doors installed. No more crappy doors on our house!! Yay!!! Image Attachment(s):

Love them! We have nearly the same front door! The glass in ours is a little different. It makes such a difference on the house!
Can I ask though why the screen doors open up on the opposite side than the door? Our screen doors and main door both open the same way. Just wondering?

Next year when you do your taxes, tell your accountant that you replaced your doors....They are tax dedtuctable.

I have no idea...that is a good question. That's how it used to be with the previous doors that were here.
Is it bad that it's that way?

Yes, if you replace exterior doors you can get a percentage back on your taxes. Same with insulation, windows, oil tank, heating system. Definitely ask you accountant about this.
The doors look great!!

Oh, I have no idea! It's not bad, I just noticed it for some strange reason! I remember when we had our front door replaced, they couldn't put the screen door on and they had to come back the next day and build it out to get our screen door on. I wonder if the handles being on the same side for each door played a part in it  It's interesting, I notice things like that. But its not wrong!

Beautiful!! Can I ask who installed them?
It was a friend of my father's. He has his own business and does all these side jobs. It only cost $700 to install the doors and he did an awesome job. Fm me if you'd like his #.
