You can alternate between Motrin and Tylenol.
Give her a dosage of Tylenol now and then at 1:00 give her motrin... then at 5:00 Motrin again etc..

Re: We have a high temp and ear infection...What to do ?
Personally if she is acting OK I would just let the fever part of it just go and regive her the motrin in 8 hours...
My pediatrician used to tell me that, for a child, it isnt how high the fever is BUT more how they handle it. This was b/c overall the fever was the bodies way of getting rid of the infection. I would give Motrin or Tylenol for more the pain than the fever itself.
My eldest daughter ran such high fevers that a couple of times it wouldnt register on the home thermoscan. Highest fever in the drs office was 105.9!!!! BUT she was fine and handled it well so he wasnt concerned. She was about 18-24 months at the time.

I was going to say the same thing. Also, putting onions in her socks will help draw out some of the heat, so if you don't feel comfortable giving the Tylenol, try the onions in the socks.
awwww...I hope she feels better soon!

Onions in her socks?
OMG I have never heard of that before!
I think my DH would think I've lost my mind if I ever did that to my DD...but hey if it works that's great! A little stinky but still great!
