We locked ourselves out of the house last night!
We went for a jog...he thought I had the keys; I thought he had the keys. We ended up at the Hess station payphone calling my mom (she has a spare key) to come let us in. Two coconuts!! Thank goodness they live nearby...it was cold last night!

Thank God you got back in, and thanks for a reminder to have a copy of our key with someone else OUTSIDE of our home.
p.s. I'm more surprised that you found a payphone.

I wouldn't touch it. I made DH call. Oh yeah---COLLECT! My mother laughed and laughed at us. We had nothing on us!

I want to get a keypad for the garage...my parents have it and I use it. Dad says he needs to "change the damn code." LOL

Ugh I hate that feeling!
DH and I locked ourselves out of our apartment twice within a couple months and the 2nd time the super said if it happens again i'm going to call a locksmith.
So it happened a 3rd time (don't ask) and we were determined to get in without asking the super. DH used his credit card and the door opened in 2 seconds. Kinda scary... good thing we don't live there anymore, we never realized how easy it was to get in!!

It is so handy to have! I'd recommend checking into getting one!!
