We tried a new potty training strategy, and it worked (at least tonight it did!)
I was thinking...when Emily poops, she always hides in the corner.
So tonight she had that "look" that she had to go.
I said lets try to go on the potty.
But then I asked her if she wanted to be alone, since she always hides off somewhere when she goes in her diaper.
She said yes, so I left the room (with her on the potty on the floor)
and not even 2 minutes later she called me in saying "I'm done!"
Low and behold she was DEFINATELY done! She left a gigantic (ahem) deposit (eek!) in the potty!
I just wanted to share the strategy. I know other kids "hide in the corner."
