We want to TTC in a few months..
So when should I go off BCP. Been on it for about 5 years..possibly have PCOS. One Dr. told me I did and one said I didn't, but she couldn't test me bc I was already on BCP for a few years.
Soo...I'm done with BCP for this month, should I start the next package? If so, should we use some other method of BC for the next few months until we're ready? What did you girls do?

Depends, if it were me and there was a chance I would have PCOS, I would stay off for now and use another form of BC.

ITA - being on BCP makes it that much harder when you want to try and conceive because you don't really know how your body works....I woudl use another form of BC and start seeing how long your cycles are normally
the more you learn about yourself before TTC, the better

I would stop taking them. they say it could take up to 3 months for your body to regulate itself and start ovulating. I know for me even though we weren't TTC I stopped back in July so I could be sure my body would be ready when I was....

i have pcos and was on bc for 7 years b4 ttc. Its been so difficult!
I would stop now and use other bc methods.

i agree with the previous posters. we hope to start TTC in a couple of months and i went off BC in oct. i was on it for 7 years before that. it has been really interesting to learn about my cycles and my body. i thought i would have a 28 day cycle every month and this has not been the case! especially if you may have pcos you'll want to see how your cycles are w/o the BC. good luck!
