I am actually waiting for the christmas stocking kits to come out at Michaels so I can start working on a stocking for Taylor. When I did one for my nephew, it took me over a year b/c I was lazy. I promised myself the first stocking she has will be made by me

The Christmas Store is open at Sunrise Mall! it's pretty nuts.

Both my DD's worked for Hallmark and July is when the Christmas Gold Club cardholders get a special night to come in and buy new and other ornamants at great prices! That's why they do this now! You should have seen my spare room last summer full of their overflow! It's purely business! This event is a good part of their revenue!

Yeah - I have been seeing in stores summer clothes on clearance getting ready to put out winter stuff. It's crazy. Always trying to rush ahead of the season.

Plus, I think some places subscribe to the "Christmas in July" promotion.
