Weaning from BM to formula
I have been pumping since we got home from the hospital and DS has had only BM via the bottle since we got home about 6 weeks ago.
I cant pump when I go back to work, so we are weaning in some formula. He puked up the first two tries, and only today we had some success mixing in 1/2 of Enfamil Lipil with the BM which he seems to be tolerating. Gradually we are going to increase the percentage... (the first time I tried it with 1 oz and he puked it up)
did anyone else do this with success? what formula did you use for sensitive tummies? any tips?

Re: Weaning from BM to formula
I just heard something from the pediatrician that the Nestle formula (I think it is called Good Start) is supposed to be good for sensitive stomaches (especially colicky babies)

Re: Weaning from BM to formula
I don't know about the formula, but my son had only pumped bm until he was 8 months old...to wean him we mixed it slowly over a few weeks, so we did 1/3 Formula with 2/3 BM and so on and so forth until he had formula only.
Good Luck!
