webkinz is making my kid a cross dresser....
or a no dresser, I can't figure it out...
So my kid is TOTALLY obsessed with his webkin "Huskey McBone"
He's been doing well in school so we've allowed him more 'computer time'
(It frightens me how much he likes this website...)
So the other night, I had to jump online to check what time the library closes and asked the kid if I can interupt his 'webkin' time for a moment.
He minimized his screen, I did my thing, closed my window and then maximized his... He all of a sudden got embarrased and admitted with a nervous laugh:
"I'm in the girl's only room"
"What?"
"I'm in a room that's only for girls..."
"oh ok... why?"
"Because I got passed the bouncers"
(They have bouncers in webkin land? Do they have free drinks for the ladies until 11?)
"Do they know you're not a girl?"
"No... because I have no clothes on.... "
"I sold them..."
"because I needed the money"
[blank stare]
Ok so let me get this straight about what exactly is Webkinz teaching my son...
he MAY or MAY not be pretending to be a woman... is living the nudist lifestyle and sold his clothes because he needed money for G*d KNOWS WHAT..
(probably a trampoline or something for his room)
The other day I noticed his Webkin had an ice pack on his head... upon asking my darling what was wrong with Huskey McBone, he proceeded to tell me he's ill... but he has no money to buy him medicine...
BUT HE HAS A TRAMPOLINE IN HIS ROOM!
nice priorities kiddo....

So funny!!
Tell him to play games in the arcade that's where you make money.
there are 2 Wheel of Fortune & Wishing Well that you don't have to do much to win a decent amount.
Sad that I know this.
Also sad that me & DH have been known to sign on & play the games.

I had no idea what Webkinz was until I read this....
It's like the preschool version of World of Warcraft!
ETA: Maybe he's in the girls' room to do research for his book "How to pick up girls online".

cash cow is good for quick money too. My neice was a little young for the games when she started playingso I would earn her money when I was up with ds when he was a newborn and only slept when the sun was up.

This reminds me of.... who was it Jesse James, when asked "Why do you rob banks?" He replied "That's where the money is!"
So Aidan frequents the girls room cause that's where the GIRLS are!!!
