Website Recommendations for parents of Preemies
Does anyone have any recommendations for websites about Preemies? Especially chat sites?
One of my good friends recently gave birth to twins and they are in the NICU. She has a lot of questions & I told her I would try to find out which websites would be the most informative.

DS was a preemie, and I don't think I really went on any websites except here. If she has any questions she can certainly FM me...I would be more than happy to offer any info I have.

there is an inspire group for preemie parents...i have to check my email for the site..there are chats on pregnancy.org as well. Due to the topic though there are some very sad stories on some of them.

I had a preemie as well. I came on here when I could, to get help or just vent.
I found the march of dimes website had a lot of info on preemies/nicu too.

I really got a lot out of the March of Dimes website. Not every story had a happy ending but I was looking for facts in addition to inspiration. If your friend is on Long Island, she might try to contact the Little Angel Fund. Their website does not have much but they really helped me out and I'm forever greatful. My son eventually became one the featured success stories in their newsletter!
