Wedding Album Question
Just out of curiosity, what type of album (the book itself) did you do? A more traditional one (something that could have passed for your mother's or grandmothers) or more modern (the coffee table style book). I went very classic and traditional. My book looks like the one my mom had.

i will go digital but with many black and white and sepia photos. They can hold a lot more pics so thats what im going to do

I got a traditional style album but with a non-traditional color-scheme.
I also got a box that looks like an album (which I cannot remember the name of) that holds 12 pictures in matting and they are all candid shots. You are supposed to display them on an easel, but I haven't got around to buying any easels.

Traditional album style. I'm not a fan of the magazine/scrapbook/digital for myself.
Many of my pages did contain multiple photos, b/w with colored details etc.

I saw a sample of those boxes at one of the photographers that we looked into. I love it but I never asked if my photographer could get it. I assumed that it cost as much as a regular album????
We are in the process of ordering a digital album. In some ways it does look like my mother's album b/c my mother's album had flush pages, not matted photos.

actually, magazine/soho/digital albums cost a lot more than traditional albums. the layout is done by a graphic designer, it's not just picture placement. I LOVE the way mine was done!!!!!!!! the background on each page is taken from one of the proofs. it truly is a work of art!!!

Traditional style by looking at unopened but in dark chocolate leather.
ETA: Pages are matted but it is a mix of sizes, b&w and color and there are two or three digital pages ...

traditional but will be in a brown leather...also many of the pages do contain more then 1 picture but I didn't want the more "modern" book

We got a traditional album in Black Leather with color and B/W shots in it. Some pages are grouping and some are single pics.

mine is a mix between the two.
The cover material is non traditional as well as the page layouts. There are a mix of B&W and color photos and I chose a lot of candid shots.
But it is the traditional matted format.
