How long after you were married did you either preserve your dress or sell it/give it away?
I'm not ready to never see it again when I preserve it - I am just staring at it hanging up
not that i will ever wear it again....
I got married in march and still did not have it cleaned

my mom took it to get it cleaned about 2 months after the wedding. it is now in a box in their house.

I brought mine to the cleaners about a month after I got married and they damaged it.
It is now sitting at The Wedding Salon waiting to get fixed.  The cleaner is paying for them to fix it.

It was preserved within a month from the wedding date.

I gave it back to Macy's Bridal when we got back from our honeymoon. The zipper busted when I was getting dressed on my wedding day.... I later got a full refund for the cost of the dress.

I never got my preserved. It is in a box in my son's closet, almost 13 1/2 years later-lol!!
I'm with you - I've been married 11 years and I never had it preserved. It is sitting in the garment bag in the closet in the basement!

Mine was in my parents basement for a year. The day after my year anniversary I brought it to be preserved.
