Weeds or Six Feet Under--which should I watch next?

I'm almost caught up with watching all the Dexter season ( sidenote--Dexter has got to be one of the best shows on t.v.! I'm actually thinking of getting showtime just to watch season 5).

So, I want to know, which show would you watch next? Weeds looks interesting and my sisters love it. I always heard Six Feet Under was really good but that Peter Krause guy sort of annoys me.

Either way, just looking for something really good and won't turn my brain to mush. After watching RHONY and RHONJ I need to step away from the trash.

I liked Weeds up until season 3. After that it kinda annoyed me.

The entire series of Six Feet Under was awesome! This is the one I vote for.

Dexter is awesome! We turn on Showtime to watch the season. Then we shut off showtime and turn on HBO to watch Entourage.

I agree on Six Feet Under - it was such a powerful show and really well done. It had to have been the BEST series finale i've ever seen! (i know, you've got a lot to watch before you get there )
If you watch that, you'll see how versatile of an actor Michael C Hall is since he's a completely different type of person in the show than he is on Dexter.

Weeds was pretty good, and had such promise up until the 3rd season when it just got really full of itself and went over the top (imo of course). It is more of an entertaining fluff sort of show whereas Six Feet Under was a moving powerful emotional series.

Hands down, SFU - it remains my favorite drama. It was brilliant and creative and dark and hysterical and painfully sad and exquisite. The series finale still haunts me.

Weeds has become a circus - I can't even watch it anymore.

dave got me into six feet under - it was an AMAZING show and as someone above said - the finale was just the PERFECT finale..

weeds jumped the shark awhile back - but i still have faith because i enjoy the characters....dave on the other hands just watches now because i do...he thinks it's not good anymore...

Six Feet Under is AMAZING! Incredibly deep and hard to watch at times. I can't imagine watching them in one sitting. Its also one of those shows that while I absolutely loved it, I will never watch it again.

Weeds is more fun- especially the first 3 seasons. Then it takes a dark turn- and while sometimes still comical- its not nearly as good.

definitely six feet under. the series finale was so good. i cried so much the first time i saw it, and still cry whenever i watch it. one of the best shows ever on TV.

the first 2 seasons of weeds were really good, but i lost all interest when season 3 started.

I have seen all of season 1 & almost all of season 2 of 6 Feet Under. It is a GREAT show. I am in the middle of watching them, I have gotten the disc from either my library or Netflix.

I like Weeds. I have seen Seasons 1-4. However I think after the first few seasons, it went down hill. I think it is still worth watching though.

SIX FEET UNDER!!!! LOVED this show! I was so, so sad when this show ended.

p.s. I also think Dexter is one of the best shows on the air. Last season was unbelievable. So fantastic!

We watched SFU from start to finish when it was originally on, and to me, it was one of the reasons all these other edgy shows got started.

There are tv 'limits' that are crossed time and time again on that show, so be ready for anything. You never know for sure what will happen. It's one of my favorite shows of all time. Although, very sad, I don't remember the finale. I think it might be time to watch it again.

By the way - we caught up to Dexter last year and between that series, US of Tara, and Nurse Jackie, I think it's a channel worth paying for.

Absolutely love Dester as well. We get Showtime just to watch that and cancel the subscription after it is over!

I totally recommend Six Feet Under. Awesome series.

Quite possibly the greatest series finale ever -- was on that show. Won't say anything more, but it was perfect for that show.

The entire series as whole was some of the best writing and ensemble casts on television...ever.
