weekend date idea!
Looking for a cute and fun date idea for a Saturday afternoon early Evening. (no kids)

Not sure how outdoorsy you are, but you can hike from Robert Moses Field 5 to the Fire Island Lighthouse and there are some restaurants at the end of the walk in Fire Island where you can grab some drinks/food
Bowling alleys are open again, but not sure if you are comfortable with that.
Walk around a cute town like Port Jeff and then get drinks/food somewhere on the water
Maybe a pack a picnic and bring a bottle of wine and go to a park.
This is all weather permitting of course- it's rough right now with a lot of indoor stuff not going on.

We like to get lobster rolls and wine and go to the beach for a dinner picnic.
You could walk around a zoo or state park.

weekend date idea!
I just went to the NY Botanical Gardens and then Arthur Avenue for dinner. It was a really nice day (Or you could do the Bronx Zoo - all in the same area)

DH and I just had a fun date day. We went to Caumsett State Park (we had never been before) and hiked for a while. Then we drove home and jumped on our bikes and rode them to the local brewery where they had live music and food trucks. It was fun!

Nassau County Museum of Art has an outdoor sculpture garden you can walk around and picnic at, and the preserve has some nice nature trails. If you are brave enough to go inside, they have a fairly good exhibit right now with some Picassos and Manets. Have fun :)
