Weekend Trip Ideas
We want to try a weekend trip in August for our anniversary but we have a 4 month old (who we'd leave with my parents) so we're thinking we might want to do something drive-able as opposed to flying. Any ideas? (When I say drive-able it doesn't have to be super close, we don't mind driving up to 5 or 6 hours to get there.)

You could go up to Fingerlakes and stay at a B&B. Then go to the vineyards and do some wine tours. We did that for Valentine's day and it was nice and romantic. They do boat rides around the lakes. Lot's of antique shops
Or
You could go to somewhere like Skytop in Pa or Mohonk House in NY. They both include all meals and have gourmet restaurants.....there are swimming pools, lake, boating, hiking, tennis, and the list goes on! Both hotels are very similiar-
Or got to Boston for the weekend.

I was going to suggest Boston, lots of fun things to do there! there is also Newport, Rhode Island or even Mystic, CT.

You can go to Lancaster PA some really nice places to stay there
or try lake George up state
or go to Pocono's plenty of nice places there to stay
and all are less then 6 hours away

I was going to say the same thing
we just got back from Ocean city and we all (there were about 25 of us) decided that this is our new July 4th tradition
we had a great time- it was relaxing but fun
