weekend vacation
I am trying to find a good spot to go in December for the weekend. I have a b-day on a sunday in manalapan, nj so I want to go somewhere fri-sunday and still go to this bday. I know some people mentioned new hope. is this good in december? any other good spots? Also recommend hotels or lodges if u know of any. Thanks in advance!

New Hope is really nice in December. I was just there on Friday night and it's already decoreated really pretty for x-mas. Peddler's village down the road is nice in December too. The lights there are beautiful. there's lots of shopping and restaurants. I've never stayed overnight since we live close to there so I don't know what places would be good to stay at. A friend at work just stayed recently at the Lambertville Inn though It's just a walk across the bridge to the Lambertville, NJ side. Lambertville is nice too. They have a lot of antique shops. New Hope is close to Manalapan too. Probably only about 45 minutes.
