Weekend vacation help needed
We want to go SOMEWHERE for our anniversary , but we dont want to spend more then $500. WHERE can we go?
NYC is out..too much $$ for a room.
Anyone know of any nice resorts in PA or VT or NH that are not that expensive? We thought, a nice room with a firplace, something romantic..
any ideas? PLEASE???

We spent a weekend at a great B&B out east - Victorian on the Bay. A nice, fun, relaxing time together in a beautiful home - I highly recommend it!

I called today. The cheapest they have is $699. for the weekend in a kinda crappy room 
The nicer rooms were like $800+ and we just dont want to spend that.

hmmm...
There are a lot of hotels in Newport that have a great rate now because of the off season...I am not sure which one would be best, as I have never stayed at them, but ahve visted a lot fo friends at different hotels in Newport...
You can do a day trip to Providence, or even to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods..or u can check out our RI casino..lincoln park or newport grand...
Also, Bar Harbor Maine is GORGEOUS...but might be a little cold this time o the year...

my parents bought a house there for a vacation house, they may be looking to rent for long weekends.. FM me if you are interested and i will ask them

this is so confusing...
I forgot to mention ..NO B & B's...DH doesnt like them...He likes a lot of privacy...
Any Pocono's hotel/resort reccomendations I can check out besides Cesars?

Sorry I have no other recommendations for you but I will tell you that Ceasars is really nice & you get alot for your $$$. All you can eat breakfats & dinner, all the daytime activities and nighttime shows. Fireplace & Jacuzzi in the room. We love it there but the only one we will stay at is Paradise Stream.

We went to a B&B in Canaan, it was really nice...
Inn at Silver Maple Farm
We went to Caesars Resort a couple of years ago, it was a little cheasy, but it was soo much fun... we had a room with a champagne glass hot tub and heart shaped pool... a little $$ though.
ETA - sorry, just read about the No B&Bs

Im still looking a lot up. Im thinking we may just NOT go on our Actual anniversary and go to Ceasars mid week. We can get a great room and at a much better price...
