I try to do a mixture. at times, it's a rotation of the same old meals. sometimes i get into a kick where it's a new thing every night but that gets hard. So really what I like to do is, if I am cooking 5-6 nights a week, I put it 1-2 new recipes to mix in with the old ones.

I definitely have some favorites that I make over and over but I would say maybe once or twice a month at the most. I can't eat the same thing every week. I use pinterest or browse online to find new recipes.

Re: Weekly menu people

We try to eat healthy Monday-Friday so it's a lot of the same meals: grilled chicken, shrimp, turkey burgers, salad etc.

I always try new recipes on the weekend..as long as we have no dinner plans.

No I try to do one basic dish like baked chicken cutlets, but I usually look up recipes to try during the week to spice it up. I wont do anything crazy long but something that might take under an hour

Re: Weekly menu people

I'm a creature of habit and my DH has a limited palate, so I tend to rotate the same 10 recipes. I'd love to throw in some new ones but lately I'm lacking inspiration.

Re: Weekly menu people

Pretty much. Ever since I made diet changes I find it easier to plan meals ahead and try to stick to it. If I don't we would do takeout more which can be costly and not as healthy as a home cooked meal.

I attempt to make at least one new meal a week. Sometimes I'll even make, or sometimes I'll just stick with the same thing. My goal is always one new meal to add into the rotation.

I try to mi. It up but I do have a couple of meals that I do almost every week in some variation. For example homemade pizza, quiche with different ingredients, pasta variations etc.

Re: Weekly menu people

I make lots of new things. I like to cook and try recipes. I take the time over the weekend to meal plan and then try to shop on Monday morning when I can.

I look online or at magazines and cookbooks to set my menu for the week. I enjoy it!

I do have some tried-and-true standbys that I work in on a regular basis.

Also, it depends on what kind of week I am having. If I know I have some busy nights, I do more slow cooker meals or quick things or things I can make ahead of time. If I know I will be home more and have more cooking time, I will work in some more elaborate recipes. I like to keep it interesting!
