Re: weight gain
20 pounds at 19 weeks. Ugh.... I gained 5 pounds alone on a vacation with my family. So I feel like that really killed me...hopefully it's not too bad from here on out.

Re: weight gain
I was like that. I wound up gaining 52 lbs in total. I lost most of it within the first few months. Try not to stress it. I ate healthy, but still gained a lot. Everyone's body handles pregnancy differently!

Re: weight gain
I'm 18 weeks and havent gained yet...well actually I lost 4 in the 1st tri and gained them back by 16w so I'm where I started. I usually put the weight on later on in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

Re: weight gain
I hate threads like this, you really shouldn't focus on what others are and aren't gaining. Everyone is so different, a huge part of it is where you start. If your doctor is happy and you're healthy, try not to obsess.
I'm 18 weeks and only gained 5lbs this time, but I'm still up a bit from never losing it all from DD. Last time I started very thin and in super good shape. My diet did a 180 (I couldn't eat all the protein and artificially sweetened things that I had been) and I didn't feel up to the gym. I wound up gaining 45 and packed it on fast. I highly doubt I'll gain anywhere near that this time becuase my diet and activity level haven't really changed much.

ITA.
I'm 29 weeks and I'm up 26 lbs. I'm not worried about losing it. Between BFing a newborn and chasing a 2 year old, the weight is going to fall off.

THIS!!!!! I have always hated these treads and comparing to others is not healthy at all. Obsessing about your weight during pregnancy is not healthy.
Let your Dr tell you if its too much.

I was neither comparing or obsessing. I had just gotten weighed at the dr. that day and posted a thread curious about what others had gained. Those who hate threads like this need not reply to them, jmo.

I'm sorry (and I really do mean that in all honesty), I didn't mean "I hate threads like this" in the way it must be coming across and I realize now that I should have worded it differently. I just meant I think some women seem to (and I could be totally wrong and I wasn't even meaning you by this) compare themselves to others and get upset/scared that they're not gaining enough or gaining too much. I really didn't mean to "complain" that you had posted this. It was just a reminder for anyone getting worried that this type of comparing is not good. Sorry again.

Re: weight gain
16 lbs at 31 weeks. Twins and no m/s. I really though I'd gain like 70 lbs and thank God I didn't because I'm already overweight.

Re: weight gain
18 pounds at just about 25 weeks.
UGH, I am hoping I slow down a bit, I was hoping to stay under 30 by the end, but we will see. I try not to worry too much about it. I had a few extra pounds before getting pregnant, so I don't want to have too much to loose.
