Re: weight loss after pregnancy
Just sort of came off, in 2m. But honestly I BF for 2m and walked miles a day, still do with DS.
I was overweight before I got prego, I've lost maybe another 5lbs that I had pre-prego by just watching what I eat on top of the walking I'm doing.
As for change in body, the belly is still there, its just all of me has gotten smaller too. I wish I knew exactly what to do, to get it to collapse.

Re: weight loss after pregnancy
It took a couple of months before I really started feeling like myself again. I started WW immediately and started working out after 4 weeks so I'm down 48lbs (out of 50) at exactly 5 months tomorrow.

Re: weight loss after pregnancy
Probably around 3 months, I started feeling less bloated. Now at 9 months PP, I can almost fit into all of my PP pants. I never imagined it would take me this long but hopefully by his 1 year, I can be a hottie again
Wanted to add that I excercise more now than ever in my entire life & it's not coming off fast enough for me. It just takes time.

Re: weight loss after pregnancy
Dont stress yourself- you JUST had a baby 5 days ago!!!!
With Rj- I gained 50 and lost 20-25lbs of it w/in the first 2-3 weeks; and did not lose another pound until I started to do weight watchers- 3yrs later!
With Brayden I gained 40lbs- lost 20-25lbs within the first 2 weeks; and lost the other 20 within the first 3 months... (Gotta love BFing)
You really can't excercise; as you are recovering from a c-section right now... but weight watchers does have a nursing mothers plan... I did some kinda modified version of that w/ Brayden...just remember you do need to eat a certain amount of calories and drink lots of water; to keep your milk supply up!

Re: weight loss after pregnancy
My body has changed so much after having DS - he's 15 months now and it's STILL changing!
After having him, I was back in my jeans within a week, but my tops fit differently. I was BFing and my chest was bigger tan normal. After I stopped BFing, by breasts shrunk so that they were smaller than pre-pg, I was still slim on the bottom, but my body was so different. My butt was flatter, but my tummy stuck out more. Now that it's been nearly 8 months since I stopped BFing, I seem to be gaining weight in my stomach, butt and thighs.
Really, I'm not sure how many wardrobes one post partum body needs!

Re: weight loss after pregnancy
I gained 70 lbs while pregnant with Alivia About 20 came off pretty quickly, water weight mostly, but when i tried really working at it by dieting and exercising nothing was happening. Turned out my thyroid was barely functioning, which explained the obscene amount of weight gained. Once that was under control i lost the weight, slowly doing it the old fashioned way...diet and exercise. Even tho i lost the 70 lbs, my body has definately changed! Things dont fit the same.

Re: weight loss after pregnancy
my final pregnancy weight was 138.... when i went for my check up at the OBs office 2 weeks after giving birth i was at 122
now i am at 115 & i'm almost 6 weeks PP.... pumping/bfing helps your uterus go back to its normal size pretty fast (at least it did for me)
hopefully when i get the okay from my OB, i will start walking everyday & working out to get rid of the extra 5 or 6 pounds
