Weird Cramping
Hey Ladies,
Was wondering if any of you could shed some light on how I'm feeling. This is my first pregnancy so every day is a new experience for me, and of course I'm a little nervous.
I am 8w today, and this am I woke up to a persistent, sharp, cramp in my lower left side. The pain has lasted all day and been consistent (not like other cramps I have had the last few weeks). Sometimes the pain radiates to my lower back, and sometimes across to the other side of my abdomen. I have no spotting at all, and haven't throughout the entire trimester.
I asked the nurse today what it could be and she just said to drink plenty of water (which I have been), but the only relief I found was sitting in a warm bath :(
So I guess my question is, do you think this warrants a call/visit to the Dr? Have any of you experienced a pain like this? Is it normal? I had a sono 2 weeks ago if it was eptopic the tech/dr would've picked that up, right?
Sorry for so many questions. Just a little concerned.

Re: Weird Cramping
I would call the doctor for peace of mind.
Cramping is definitely really uncomfortable, and probably normal for the most part-but I always would suggest to air on the side of caution and call your OB.
