Weird question but I have noticed..
Is coffee every mommy's new best friend?
I cant complain about Megans sleeping habits. Shes been good from day one. So I dont really need it to stay awake but I LOVE it since I had her.
I was never a huge coffee drinker before but now I look forward to it. In the morning, I love it. At night, its like a special treat. I noticed in my neighborhood too, the new mommies (there are like 4 of us), that there "special walk" is to dunkin donuts all alone to get their coffee.
Is there anyone else like this?

I'm actually an energy drink addict. It used to be red bull, but now it's Enviga, because it has more natural ingredients. I have coffee every once and a while, but I load it with sugar when I drink it, so I try to avoid it altogether.

I am a coffee addict.
When my DD was little and I needed to get out of the house, off to the drive thru Starbucks we would go. She would sleep and I would enjoy my coffee. When I returned to work, I would look forward to the quiet time in the morning getting ready with my coffee. And it gives me that boost when I am SO exhausted from running around after a toddler!!

Funny you should post this. Pre-baby I used to HATE coffee. With a passion. It tasted like poison to me. I now make sure I leave the house w/a travel mug of starbucks each morning and it is SUCH a nice treat for me now. I also take caffiene enhanced supplements/drinks on occassion...not the greatest for you but it gets me through the day sometimes.

I love my coffee! On these cold winter days I often make a pot in the afternoons as a treat! And on those rough days, I put a shot of kalua in my evening cup! 
I think it is the mommy equivalent of comfort food.

There is a Dunkin walking distance from my house, but we always get bad diarrhea from it, which is a bummer (they must not clean their pots or something well enough). So I've been hitting the other drive thru Dunkins in my area.
I always liked coffees so I can't say if I enjoy it more now, but you are right, I will always stop if given the chance!

I am obsessed with iced coffee, but I get decaf. I'm get too wired if I have caffiene.
BTW, there is a drive through Starbucks on Northern Blvd in Great Neck. I love it!

There is a drive thru Starbucks in Selden on Middle Country Rd. A 10 minute trip for me, but it was worth it not to get out of the car!

ooo I forgot about that one in F'dale - I never noticed it was a drive thru. I may have to take a ride through one of these days. hmmm :) Thanks!
I'm also on the Decaf train until i'm done BF. But its been so long, it doesn't bother me anymore..lol.
