Weird question but I need honest answers...
We are going to the cemetary today to visit my stepdad. This is the first time we are going since we found out I was pregnant. I printed out a sonogram picture and wrote a little note to him on it and I want to attach it to the flowers we leave there today.
Do you think this is morbid? Do you think its not a good idea? Honest feedback please!

Speaking from the women who went to her Grandparents grave the day before her wedding and left a coursage and boutierre for her Grandparents. I don't think so at all.

We left wedding invitations on JT's grandparents' graves and also on my great-grandparents' and uncle's gravestones. We felt so much more at peace after we did that. I say do it!

I had a bouquet made to match mine and took it to my grandma's grave the day before my wedding. And when I was pregnant and found out I was having a boy I took a little "It's a Boy" balloon to her grave too.
So of course I vote definitely do it.

I left my wedding bouquet & DH's corsage at his dad's gravesite and my sisters' bouquets at my grandfather's grave. I'm all for anything that will comfort you & connect you to the people you need to feel connected with...

Noreen, I think its a touching and powerful idea... You follow your heart, no idea is bad if it comes fromthe heart...
wow, what sweet things everyone has done at the gravestones of their loved ones 
My closest loved ones are my grandparents and they are buried in Italy I know this may sound morbid to some, but I have a photo of their gravestones in a floral frame (representing flowers by their graves ) and the frame is facing the outdoors, because I dont know, something with the sky and letting them go (never thought that out...) and it just makes me feel like I visit their stones if I have those photos here....
Of course I have wonderful happy photos of them too... and I also have a photo of DHs dad right next to them, he also passed many many years ago....
I had all of their happy photos at my wedding...

2 days before my wedding, I left a replica of my bouquet at my parents grave site, and wrote a little note attached to it. It was sad, but made me feel a little better.

I buried in the dirt a photo of Molly and my nephew at my grandparent's grave recently. It made me feel better and doesn't hurt anyone so I don't see anything wrong with it.

Wonderful idea. I had a student whose mother died. I went to the grave and put her daughter's picture there in a ziplock back.
