Weird question Please come in
Is there any way a UTI can affect getting PG?
AF is due in 8 days and I just got a UTI last night

I don't think so. I know it's common to get one while pg, so I would say it doesn't have an effect.

While they're completely different systems, UTI's are often accompanied by a fever. Your body would be producing white blood cells to fight off the infection. Not sure if that would change things.
The IF board may know.

I thought I had a UTI one month and I drank more cranberry juice than I ever had in my life. Turns out it was very "drying" and I think that's why I didn't get PG that month. However, I did read that drinking lots of it can result in a boy or girl - I forget. I think it was the girl, b/c they get through any environment. So that's the only way I can think of.
