Weird symptoms
For awhile now my hands hurt when I open and close them.like REALLY BAD! Sometimes they go numb too (usually when Im sleeeping, so I think I might sleep on them wrong or something). My toes/feet have a similar feeling as my hands, so I'm thinking it's because they are swollen.
And now the past few days my body has been super itchy everywhere!
Anyone else experience this?

Re: Weird symptoms
sounds like carpal tunnel...? i get the numb limbs while sleeping -it wakes me up. i do think it's from sleeping on them wrong... like ordinarily if i'm crushing my hand i'd unconsciously move so i was no longer crushing it. now, my body just doesn't move itself because it requires too much effort
just my personal theory!

Re: Weird symptoms
I am 30 weeks and my hands have recently started to hurt, mostly in the morning, when I open and close them. I was figuring I might be clenching my hands when I sleep but who knows. I'm not getting the numbness like you and I don't have the feeling in my feet. But I think you might be right that it might be from swelling.

Me too!!!! The doc told me its carpal tunnel and that theres not much we can do other than maybe get a brace (which I don't see helping with the pain) and possibly physical therapy. I don't have time for that! So I will just be dealing with it....

Re: Weird symptoms
The itching could be the increased blood flow. I know if I don't exercise for a long time and then run, my legs get itchy because of all the blood rushing to the muscles. Your body isn't used to it, so you feel an itching sensation.
The hands and feet could be due to a lack of circulation. When you sleep, blood can kind of pool in your hands and feet since it doesn't circulate as well with no movement. This can cause swelling which I would imagine could feel stiff.

Re: Weird symptoms
I am 37 weeks and my right wrist is killing me. I just told the doctor and had to get a wrist brace. Doctor said it will go away after swelling goes down.
