Weirdest thing happened last night
It's very rare that Alex will wake up during the night and cry - she usually sleeps 12 straight hours, and if, by chance, she wakes up, she immediately stands up in her crib and cries out for me.
But, last night, at 9pm, I hear her crying "mommmmy mommy". I waited to see if it would stop, but for about 5 minutes she continued crying - but not real crying, whining, and I hear her crying softly, "mommy". I looked in the monitor, and she was still laying down in her crib
So, I walked into her room, and she's still laying down. I walk over to her crib and she's still whimpering and crying mommy, and when I look in, she's still asleep! Her eyes are closed, she's in a little ball, her little body is shaking and she's crying "mommy". I reach down, pick her up, and I guess I startled her out of her sleep, because she opened her eyes, jumped a little, wiped her eyes, and gave me the tightest little bear hug in the world.
My poor little monkey had her first official nightmare. DH and I were laughing later, because initially I thought, well, maybe she dreamt that she got lost from me or something, but in reality, we agreed, she was probably dreaming that a little friend took one of her toys or something like that

Re: Weirdest thing happened last night
Julia will have some dreams like that to, she will start calling me in her sleep, I feel so bad cause I don't want to wake her, so I just wisper in her ear that mommy is right here don't worry, so she usually rolls over and puts her arm around me. (we co-sleep).
